Hi Kevin, How are you? I really do enjoy the things you write about. Most of the time it brings a smile or a tear to my eyes. It also keeps me wondering what my life would have been like if I had stuck to the things that I enjoyed doing the most. Dogs, Horses, Children and the great outdoors. At my age its kind of hard to start something new. Cleaning toilets and mopping floors ect although it’s for a good cause and we need the money I bring in to survive, it doesn’t leave me much time to train. On top of that my duties as a wife. I know that these things are the major contribution to the times I get depressed. I also know that most people wouldn’t pick a total stranger and download there thoughts on his reply box. So with that said keep sending the emails and keep up the GOOD work. Sincerely

This military dog is amazing and inspirational. I am really happy with what you shared because it reminds me how dogs, even if they come in small packages, can do great things for the world.

Hi Rene’e. I am well thank you…just a bit tired. I am on a new schedule so I can write before work. I think Wednesday is the worst! Thanks for asking. I understand your challenges. I feel very guilty about not giving my family enough of my time. I am splitting my real job, my 2d job (writing) and my family…..it is very hard. I def don’t spend enough time with my dogs…..although I started running with them again on Saturdays.
You know I’ve had this conversation with my cousin and his girlfriend last week. You should be proud of who you are and what you do. Who cares if it is doctor, plumber or slinging drinks. Just do it well and be the best you can be at what you do. You are doing what you must to make a better life for your family. I, like my electrician dad, am doing the same. Keep up the great work!
